Chinese Mutton Delight

Use normal wine if chinese wine is not available. serve with naan or rice.

300 grams sliced lamb
pineapple juice for marination
5 gms chopped ginger (adrak)
5 gms chopped garlic (lehsun)
5 gms ginger (adrak) julliennes
5 gms (1" in size) of spring onions
10 gms black mushrooms
1 tbsp chinese rice wine
1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
few drops of maggi seasoning
1/2 tbsp sesame (til) oil
300 ml chicken stock


  1. Heat the oil in a pan.
  2. sauté chopped ginger, chopped garlic and ginger juliennes.
  3. Add the black mushrooms and spring onions.
  4. Stir fry for about two to three minutes.
  5. add oyster sauce, chinese rice wine, maggi seasoning and chicken stock.
  6. Simmer for three to four minutes and add marinated lamb slices.
  7. Add sesame oil at the end.
