For the dough
3/4 cup plain flour (maida)
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp salt

For the stuffing
1 1/2 cups mixed boiled vegetables
2 boiled potatoes
1 chopped onion
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste

For the sauce
3/4 cup fresh cream
3/4 cup milk
2 large tomatoes
4 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp sugar (approx)
salt to taste

For the topping
50 gms grated cooking cheese
poatato waffers to decorate


    For the dough

    1. Mix the flour, oil and salt. Add water and prepare a soft dough.
    2. Keep the dough for 1 hour.

    For the stuffing

    1. Mash the potatoes coarsely.
    2. Heat the oil thoroughly in a vessel, add the onions and fry for a little time.
    3. Add the boiled vegetables, mashed potatoes, chilli powder and salt and cook for 1 minute.

    For the sauce

    1. Cut the tomatoes into big pieces, add 1/4 teacup of water and cook. When cooked, take out a thick soup by putting through a sieve.
    2. Mix the cream, milk, tomato soup, tomato ketchup, flor and 1 teacup of water.
    3. Add the chilli powder, sugar and salt. Boil until the gravy thickens.

    How to proceed

    1. Roll out the dough into small thin rounds.
    2. Boil plenty of water in a vessel and add 1 tablespoon of oil to the boiling water.
    3. Drop one round at a time into the boiling water, cook for 1/2 minute and remove. Repeat for all rounds.
    4. Fill each round with 1 tablespoon of the stuffing and roll up.
    5. Arrange on a greased baking dish, pour hot sauce and sprinkle the cheese on top.
    6. Bake in a hot oven at (400°F) for 15 minutes.
    7. Surround with potato wafers and serve hot.
