Ingredients



For the pancakes
1 banana, mashed
4 tbsp whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1 tsp oil for cooking

To be mixed together for the stewed fruits
1 recipe Stewed Fruits
1 tbsp low fat cream
1/2 tsp sugar substitute

Other ingredients
1/2 recipe Dark Chocolate Sauce

For the garnish
1 tsp roasted almond (badam) slivers

Method

    For the pancakes

    1. Combine the banana and wheat flour in a bowl and mix well.
    2. Add approx. ¼ cup water to get a batter of coating consistency.
    3. Divide the batter into 4 equal portions.
    4. Heat a few drops of oil in a small pan and pour 1 portion of the batter on it.
    5. Spread it with the back of a round ladle to make a 100 mm. (4") diameter thick pancake.
    6. Cook the pancake till both sides are golden brown in colour.
    7. Repeat with the remaining batter to make 3 more pancakes. Keep aside.

    How to proceed

    1. Place 1 pancake in a serving dish.
    2. Put 1 tbsp stewed mixed fruits on it and fold the pancake over it to make a semi-circle.
    3. Serve hot topped with warm dark chocolate sauce and roasted almonds.
    4. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 3 more pancakes.

    An obvious kids' favourite! What i like about the dish is that the sweetness is not overpowering at all! Its deliciously lip smacking!
